Sowing the Night

Deeply shaken by the images reaching us from the Gaza Strip over the past two years, and haunted by those broadcast by Daesh and Hamas, I aim with this film to investigate the imagery of wartime violence from both historical and comparative perspectives. It is a cinematic meditation, resolute, sensitive, and restless, on the full "charge" of these images, exploring both their power and their limitations.
