In the impossible mourning that follows, one evening she discovers a video taken at a strange funfar she had never heard of, where he is filmed in a degrading posture that stuns her. It seems that he was investigating the crimes committed in this place, an island in the Pacific, in the greatest secrecy.

Faced with this possible betrayal, which fundamentally calls into question their relationship, Solène decides to go there. Taking a dizzying route through ruins and solitary creatures, she sets out to uncover the truth.
