In the foothills of the Massif Central, the Limousin mountains are one of the country's most densely wooded regions. In less than a century, softwood plantations have taken the place of agriculture, disrupting the landscape. As more and more trees are cut down, many people are speaking out against these coniferous monocultures and their intensive farming methods. But is another forest possible?
