Tehran, June 2013. Iranians are preparing to elect the new president of the Islamic Republic. Crowded in front of their televisions, they comment on the presidential campaign broadcast by the national channels: the jokes that accompany the parade of candidates betray the disillusionment of the spectators. After the 2009 uprisings, the democratic momentum bloodily suppressed by the regime, do the Iranian people still believe in politics?

In the intimacy of their homes, faced with the flow of images relayed by satellite - state propaganda, images from the West, Egypt or Syria - men and women freely testify to their hopes, their anger and their fears.
